Estiluz

Gerard Masdeu Jordà was a young entrepreneur with great vision and taste for design. In 1969 he drew on his father’s mechanical experience and the help of his brother to found a small company in a workshop in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, in the province of Girona (Spain).
Since its origins, Estiluz has been devoted to design, development, manufacturing and the distribution of high-range decorative lighting products. The firm’s elegant, functional and timeless designs, superb quality materials and finishes and product engineering have made it a global pioneer in the lighting sector. It currently has regional sales offices in Paris (1991), New York (1993) and Frankfurt (2002).
Estiluz carries out all its industrialization, manufacturing and assembly processes on its own premises. It has always strived to stand out by offering special products and impeccable service.
Design is part of the Estiluz culture. It is an internalized value, shared by the entire organization, which is reflected in everything we do. Design is a life concept in constant evolution and Estiluz has spent a lot of time thinking about its design startegy, far beyond the aesthetics of its products and brand image.
Estiluz has started an internal transformation in its organization and facilities, in order to become a laboratory that creates innovative solutions in lighting, respectful to the society and the environment and targeting a universal public.
Estiluz is considered one of the most charismatic brands in the vanguard lighting industry and has been internationally acknowledged receiving a Mention on Honor for the European Design Management Award 2010 and the Delta Award 2012 to the originality of its Balloon lamp.
